Upcoming events
We have a few new events to announce. We will be visiting the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) for a visualization tour later this month. This tour will allow us to meet some of the NCSA visualization staff and view some of their 3D animations of scientific phenomena. They have developed visualizations for many projects including the award winning “A Beautiful Planet” 3D space documentary. We highly encourage you to join us for this event!
We will also be holding tutorials for LaTeX in late October and Git in November. LaTeX is a high-quality typesetting system commonly used with the math, science and engineering communities, while Git is a version control system for tracking changes and coordinating work for software projects. If you would like to learn more about these, we hope you will attend the tutorials.
Stay tuned for more details on these events!
